No. Horses are not required to participate fully in the program, but owning or having access to one can enhance the Ambassador experience and provide additional opportunities throughout the year. 

Western Legacy Ambassadors, Inc. is an independent Colorado program based along the Front Range, with experiences, appearances, and events taking place in communities throughout the state. 

No. Western Legacy Ambassadors, Inc. is open to qualified young women from across Colorado. Because many program experiences, appearances, and events take place along the Front Range, applicants living within approximately 1–3 hours of the area may find participation and travel more manageable. Applicants from outside that range are welcome but should consider the travel commitment required throughout the year.  

The Title Year is one year, from May to May.

Queen: ages 15-19

Princess: ages 11-14

Ambassadors participate in a variety of experiences throughout the year, including rodeos, fairs, community events, agriculture, outdoor conservation, and leadership opportunities. Through professional connections, they learn directly from the people and organizations whose work brings the program’s five core pillars to life.
